Payment Terms Standards
- First-time buyers: 30% T/T advance + 70% T/T at sight against shipping documents, OR 100% L/C at sight from a reputable bank.
- Repeat customers (3+ orders): 30% advance + 70% on B/L copy, OR Cash Against Documents (CAD).
- Annual contract holders: DA 30 or DA 45 days against approved letter of credit history.
We do not accept escrow on first orders, do not negotiate on payment terms below 30% advance, and do not engage with buyers who insist on 100% post-shipment payment without an established letter of credit.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the lowest MOQ for any product?
Dried rose buds have the lowest MOQ at 50 kg. Dried rose petals, rose petal powder, and rose water are MOQ 100 kg (or 200L for rose water). For samples, we ship 50g of any solid product or 500mL of rose water free of charge (buyer pays courier).
Are these prices the absolute lowest?
No. The published ranges are spot prices. Annual contract holders, multi-FCL annual commitments, and combined-product orders (multiple SKUs in one shipment) negotiate 8-18% below these levels.
Do you charge for samples?
Sample product is free of charge. Buyer covers DHL/FedEx air freight, typically $60-120 depending on destination. Larger evaluation samples (1-5 kg) for serious commercial buyers are negotiated case-by-case.
How are CIF rates calculated?
CIF [your port] = FOB Karachi + Ocean Freight + Marine Insurance. Insurance is typically 0.15-0.30% of cargo value. We work with established freight forwarders and pass through actual costs without markup. For DAP (delivered at place), add 10-15% to CIF for destination clearance + last-mile.
Why is rose water cheaper per liter than petals per kg?
Rose water is mostly water (97-99% water + 1-3% essential oil compounds and water-soluble fragrants). The petals are the concentrated dried product. Different units, different production economics. Per-liter rose water pricing reflects the fact that 1 kg of fresh petals yields 3-5 L of hydrosol.
Can I mix products in one container to reduce per-unit cost?
Yes, and we encourage it. A typical mixed FCL might contain 2,000 kg petals + 500 kg buds + 300 kg powder + 1,000L rose water. Combined order qualifies for the highest tier on each product, plus shares one ocean freight charge.
What is the standard validity for a Pro Forma Invoice (PI)?
Our PIs are valid for 14 calendar days from issue date. After 14 days we reissue with current pricing (which may have moved with exchange rate or fuel surcharge changes).
Do you offer DAP (delivered to my warehouse) pricing?
Yes, on request. We offer DAP quotations to most countries for first-time buyers who don't yet have an established freight forwarder. DAP typically runs 15-25% above CIF depending on destination customs complexity.
What payment methods are accepted?
T/T (telegraphic bank transfer) and L/C (letter of credit, irrevocable, at sight) are our two primary methods. We do not accept PayPal, Western Union, cryptocurrency, or escrow services on first orders. For shipping documents handover we accept original L/C or T/T confirmation from a reputable correspondent bank.
Are prices in USD only, or do you quote in other currencies?
Standard quotations are in USD. For EU buyers we can issue in EUR at the day's exchange rate. For UAE buyers we can quote in AED. Other currencies (GBP, CAD, AUD) available on request, but USD remains our preferred contract currency due to PKR/USD exchange volatility.
